The second British Arrows Craft VR / 360 judging took place this week, inviting this year’s entrants to experience all the best work the category has to offer.

Following on from last year, The Mill is proud to maintain its support by hosting the judging series in the Windmill Street Studio's Experience Area.

Additionally this year from The Mill’s LDN studio, Mill Head of 3D Robert Holmes sits on the Craft Jury Panel.

Rob comments on the importance of the event; "Craft is everything – without craft, the mediocre would take over leaving nothing but uninspiring images and unemotional sounds.

We're lucky enough to work in an industry which finds both its creative and financial rewards in the successful manifestation of craft, so we should celebrate it at every opportunity. Failing to do so, would endorse those who think "it's good enough", and that simply isn't good enough. Craft is, and always should be, the tenacious pursuit of excellence in every creative endeavor we set our minds to.

It’s for all these reasons that I feel very honoured to be asked on to the judging panel for the 2017 Awards. Sitting among other creatives, all with such a diverse and unique outlook on our still-developing industry is a real privilege. I am really excited to see a whole array of craft throughout the judging week and to continue the important celebration later on this year at the awards ceremony."

The awards show is set to return in May 2017, celebrating the sheer bravery, innovation, and artistry of those who craft moving images in advertising.

Following last year's undeniably successful launch of the VR / 360 category, this year's awards are set to be just as exciting as it gains further momentum.

The Mill look forward to once again seeing the industry’s best talent coming together to celebrate in May.
